GO BLONDE festival is taking place in Jūrmala
Marika Ģederte: „Thanks to the great interest shown by tourists, Go Blonde is going to organize the fourth festival, and this time it will take place in Jūrmala on 13th of July. We have taken into account recommendations by tourists, and hope it will be an unforgettable and colorful festival for every single participant. The theme of this year's event is Pink Sensation.
Activities on the water and beach, Marilyn Monroe look-a-like contest, Miss and Mister Australian Gold beauty pageant finale, tennis and golf tournaments, Harley Davidson bike parade will take place throughout all day. The festival will be concluded with a party all night long, with local celebrities as well as internationally renowned DJs and performers. The festival will be free of charge for attenders, only some selected closed events will have an entrance fee.
The previous Go Blonde festivals received international media attention, helping Latvia appear on the leading news channels with a positive message – “Latvia has found a way to fight the crisis”. German national TV channel 1 created a documentary on Latvian Blondes association. The festival was reflected by over 500 internet portals globally, the CNN, as well as by popular lifestyle magazines like Glamour, Marie Claire in the USA, Grazia in England and Italy.
